On Sunday, March 24th, 2002 at
St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 6720 Union Mill Rd, Clifton Pedals for Progress
(PfP), a nonprofit charitable organization, had a used bicycle
collection sponsored by the Sts. Andrew & Clare Council of the Knights
of Columbus. Bicycles, collected by PfP are shipped to developing countries
in Latin America, Africa, and the Pacific Islands where they are
reconditioned by partner agencies and distributed to poor working adults
